MapplsPin & DigiPin
You may not have seen it on Google Maps yet, but the Mappls app has ‘Mappls Pin.’
How does it look? It is a six-digit combination of Lingo. There will be numbers and alphanumeric characters. If you share this with your loved ones, they can easily reach your place.
Do you know what Maples would have done without this? They tied up with India Post and also linked ‘DigiPin,’ Digital Postal India Number.
They use this as the India Post method for delivery. They can easily deliver to that specific address and even identify the door number of that house.
Travel cost and toll fee calculation
If we travel from one place to another, it accurately calculates the distance, how many tolls there are, and the cost incurred for it.
For example, if you give the direction to Madurai Airport, it will show how many toll gates there are and how much it will cost.
The main thing is the ‘Add Fuel Cost’ option. You can choose whether your car is petrol, diesel, CNG, or electric.
You enter the mileage per liter, and it will calculate the total cost of the trip. This option is not available in Google Maps.

3D Junction View
When you are on a highway, you get confused about which way to go when you see a flyover or an underpass.
This gives you an amazing 3D photo view. So you can easily guess which is the entry and which is the exit.
They have also tied up with ISRO for this. Go to the settings and enable ‘ junction view.’
Live Traffic Signal Timer
You may not have seen this even on Google Maps, but it has been introduced for the first time in Bengaluru City.

They have integrated this feature with the Bengaluru Traffic Police and have brought this feature to 169 signals.
Hazard Alert
If there is work going on at a certain distance while you are traveling, such as digging a ditch, or if a CCTV camera has been fixed, this maps app will highlight it.
The camera will indicate the presence of the camera, so you can control the speed limit.
Similarly, it will alert you in real time about the presence of hills and potholes.
Maples App launched a company called ‘MapMyIndia’ in 2013. This company is an old company that started in 1995. If there is an Indian product that can give a tough fight to Google Maps, it is Maples App.
